Chinese P2P lender Weidai files for $100m US IPO

Amid tightened regulations in China’s troubled peer-to-peer (P2P) lending sector, Chinese P2P lender Weidai Ltd has filed for a $100-million initial public offering (IPO) in the US, with plans to list on the New York Stock Exchange.
