Another Vietnamese state company will be privatised this year. The Hanel Co Ltd – which operates in the electronics and IT sectors but has also expanded to real estate, auxiliary industry, and logistics – will sell 61 per cent to strategic investors and 9.94 per cent to general investors. The government is also mulling to sell another round $1 billion sovereign bonds to Vietcombank.
