Investment firm ThomasLloyd on Tuesday said it has acquired a significant stake in SolarArise India Projects while Merck Ltd has received the government’s approval to sell up to 77.8 per cent stake to Procter & Gamble Overseas India BV. In another development, Punjab National Bank (PNB) and US private equity investor Carlyle have shelved plans to sell their stakes in the housing finance unit.
