Thailand-listed United Power of Asia (UPA) plans to invest up to $25 million in the cryptocurrency mining business in Laos through a joint venture firm with Singapore-based Asia Investment and Financial Services Sole Company Limited (AIFS), according to its filing to the Stock Exchange of Thailand on Monday.
