Singapore’s state investment company Temasek said on Monday it will add three external hires in new roles to strengthen its leadership team.

Temasek said Gabriel Lim, who is currently Permanent Secretary (Policy) at Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry, will join Temasek on Oct. 1 as joint head for corporate strategy.

Lim will help develop and drive strategies to support the implementation of Temasek’s 2030 strategy and strengthen ties with partners and stakeholders, the company said in a statement.

Lim will partner Temasek’s joint head for corporate strategy Lim Ming Pey, Temasek added.

Temasek said it is also appointing industry veterans Eng Aik Meng and Dinesh Khanna as joint heads for its portfolio development group.

Eng and Khanna will join Temasek on Sept. 1 and in mid-October respectively, according to the statement.

Both will join Juliet Teo, who currently leads Temasek’s portfolio development group. Teo will also be appointed as joint head of Temasek’s portfolio development group as that group seeks to focus on growth and innovation, Temasek said.
