Elevation Capital leads $10.5m funding in India's Spill Games

Spill Games founders: Om Misra, Tapan Ranjan and Harsh Garg

Bengaluru-based mobile gaming startup Spill Games has raised $10.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Elevation Capital, according to an announcement on Wednesday.

The funding also saw participation from existing investors Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital, the company said in a statement.

The company said it plans to use the fresh capital to scale successful games, expand its portfolio, strengthen its artificial intelligence (AI) and technology capabilities, invest in user acquisition, and selectively expand its team.

Founded in 2024 by former PlaySimple Games executives Om Misra, Tapan Ranjan and Harsh Garg, Spill is building an AI-led mobile gaming studio focused on free-to-play casual, puzzle and hybrid-casual games for global audiences.

“We started Spill because we love making and playing games. We want to build a company where a small team can move quickly, experiment freely, and spend its time making games rather than managing the complexity that traditionally comes with game development. Our technology, tools and processes are all built around that idea. We build what excites us, put it in front of players quickly and let their response guide us. When players love something as much as we do, that is when we scale it,” said Om Misra, co-founder and CEO of Spill Games.

Spill claims to combine proprietary technology, shared infrastructure, analytics, rapid experimentation and data-led decision-making to build and scale a portfolio of mobile games. Its proprietary in-house technology platform, Compass, supports game development, analytics, monetisation and live operations across its portfolio.

The global mobile gaming market is estimated at $176.7 billion in 2026 and is projected to reach $256.2 billion by 2030, according to Grand View Research.
