Agstack Technologies Pvt. Ltd, which operates agricultural-technology platform Gramophone, has raised about $3.4 million in a funding round led by deep tech investor Siana Capital.
Existing investors Info Edge Ventures fund, Asha Impact and Better Capital joined the round, the company said in a statement.
The startup will use the funding for product development, data science and scale operations across geographies.
Founded in 2016 by IIT graduates Tauseef Ahmad Khan, Nishant Vats Mahatre, Harshit Gupta and Ashish Rajan Singh, Gramophone claims to provide crop protection, crop nutrition, seeds, implements and agri hardware to farmers at their doorstep. The company has around 550,000 Indian farmers on its platform.
