In-vitro diagnostics-based medical devices developer Render Biotech Co Ltd has secured 100 million yuan ($15 million) in a Series A round of financing led by Qiming Venture Partners with the participation of Sequoia Capital China, per a company statement on Tuesday.
Render will use the proceeds in sprucing up product pipelines, sales and marketing teams, as well as supply chain.
Established in 2016, Render produces medical devices catering to microbiology, hemostasis, urine analysis and immunoassay.
In 2019, Render had received ‘millions of US dollars’ in its angel round from ASB Ventures China Holdings.
