Podium, a Singapore-founded cloud-based digital platform for industrialised construction, has announced raising S$20.4 million (about $15.3 million) in its Series A-1 funding round anchored by design and software solutions firm Autodesk.

Elevators and escalators provider Schindler and Australian real estate firm Lendlease backed the round.

Podium said the fresh funds will help it expand in key markets, including Singapore and Australia. The firm is already in advanced discussions with property developers, design consultants, supply chain partners, and government agencies for its growth plans.

Founded in Singapore, Podium was originally incubated with Lendlease and spun out as an independent venture in September 2024.

Podium said its SaaS platform helps accelerate the design-to-supply process by automating workflows to achieve outcome-based design milestones.

The company said its platform addresses the critical challenges including low productivity, high waste, cost inefficiencies, and the growing need for sustainable building practices.

The funding comes as global demand for sustainable buildings is expected to reach S$748 billion in Asia alone by 2028, while construction demand is projected to hit S$38 billion by the same year.

“Our Series A-1 funding marks a significant milestone in Podium’s journey to reshape the built environment industry,” said Podium CEO Pankaj Srivastava.

Podium is also collaborating with JTC Corporation to optimise the design process further.
