Australia and New Zealand Bank (ANZ) has announced Peter Chan as the new CEO in Taiwan, a successor to Terry King who decided to retire after 36 years in the banking sector. In another news, Zurich-based UBS has hired Pei Shen Chou as the Managing Director and Co-head Asia Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) business, an appointment that is being seen as a move to strengthen the bank’s M&A business.
