Korea Investment Corporation (KIC) has announced the appointment of Il Young Park as its chief executive officer and chairman of the Board of Directors while Amundi Singapore has appointed Florent Dang Tran as senior portfolio manager and investment advisor, multi-asset investments.
KIC announces appointment of new CEO
The Korea Investment Corporation (KIC) has announced the appointment of Il Young Park as chief executive officer and chairman of the Board of Directors.
Park started his three-year term on Thursday. He was most recently executive director for Asia and the Pacific Constituency of the World Bank.
Previously, he had served in several senior positions at the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Korea, including Deputy Minister for International Affairs, Director General for International Economic Affairs Bureau, Director General for Development Finance Bureau and Policy Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister.
Amundi Singapore appoints senior portfolio manager
Amundi Singapore, a fund management company licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, has appointed Florent Dang Tran as a senior portfolio manager and investment advisor for multi-asset investments, according to a statement.
Dang Tran will focus on enhancing the firm’s ability to advise and create multi-asset solutions for clients in South Asia.
Dang Tran will report to Florian Neto, head of Multi-Asset Investments for Asia, and locally to David Poh, Head of Investments for South Asia.
Dang Tran began his career at Amundi Paris in 2004, initially managing multi-asset portfolios for high-net-worth individuals at Société Générale, and later for the bank’s institutional clients.
