PE-VC investments in India's financial startups drop 25% in H1 2024

Amid a prolonged period of slowdown, private equity (PE) and venture capital (VC) investments in financial services startups, comprising financial technology (fintech) companies and fintech lenders, declined by 25% to $1.5 billion in Jan-June 2024 from $2 billion in the comparable period last year, according to proprietary data compiled by DealStreetAsia.
