Nurix AI bags $27.5m from Accel, others
Nurix AI, a startup founded by Myntra and Cultfit founder Mukesh Bansal, on Tuesday announced that it has raised $27.5 million in seed-Series A funding co-led by General Catalyst and Accel, with participation from Meraki Labs.
Nurix will use the funds for expanding its technological base and scaling its operations in Asia and Northern America. This includes enhancing R&D and strengthening partnerships with AI hardware and product companies, it said in a statement.
Founded earlier this year, Nurix AI specialises in building custom AI agents with proprietary human-like voice and reasoning abilities to fuel productivity and enhance customer experiences for global enterprises.
CoRover secures $4m led by Venture Catalysts
Conversational AI platform CoRover has raised $4 million in its Series A funding round led by Venture Catalysts, per an announcement.
Other investors include CanBank Venture Capital Fund (CVCFL), IIM Calcutta (Innovation Park), IIIT Delhi (iHub Anubhuti IIITD Foundation), Cogniphy LLC, Karekeba Ventures, Lead Angels and more, the startup said in a statement.
The funding will enable CoRover to further develop its technology, expand its team of AI experts, and accelerate its go-to-market strategy. The company also plans to focus on enhancing its enterprise (B2G and B2B), B2B2C, and B2C offerings while also exploring new revenue streams through subscription-based models, ad-based revenue, and transaction-based fees.
Founded by Ankush Sabharwal (CEO), Kunal Bhakhri, and Manav Gandotra, CoRover claims to empower businesses to create engaging and personalised conversational experiences across various channels, including AI chatbots, AI voicebots, AI videobots, IVR bots, and WhatsApp bots. It caters to a wide range of industries, including e-commerce, healthcare, finance, education, BFSI, mobility, and retail.
