Cryptocurrencies are not suitable for use as a payment instrument in Malaysia, according to the country’s deputy finance minister Mohd Shahar Abdullah. Shahar Abdullah said the government does not intend to recognise it as a legal tender, according to a Bloomberg report on Friday.
