India: Startup M&A value tumbles 87% to $323m in first seven months as uncertainty lingers

With the funding winter showing no signs of a thaw in India, deep-pocket startups are adopting a ‘wait-and-watch’ policy before embarking on an ‘inorganic’ growth path. The number of acquisitions this year has come down significantly as most startups are waiting for clear signals on how the economy is likely to pan out in the months to come.
