UniUni, which offers shipping and last-mile delivery solutions across North America, has completed its Series C2 round while robotics firm UnitX has pocketed $46 million in a Series B round.
Bessemer Venture Partners leads UniUni’s Series C2 round
Canadian e-commerce logistics firm UniUni has secured $30 million in a Series C2 round led by US venture capital firm Bessemer Venture Partners, as the firm eyes to accelerate its US expansion.
Chinese investors Joy Capital and Lanchi Ventures joined the round alongside FX Venture Partners, and Celtic House Venture Partners, according to a company release on November 15. The C2 round comes seven months after the firm disclosed its $50-million Series C1 round led by DCM.
Founded in 2019, the Richmond, British Columbia-headquartered firm expanded into the US market in November 2022. The firm claimed that it has seen its total monthly revenues in the US market jump by fourfold in the past year, per the release.
UnitX secures $46 million in a Series B round
UnitX, which helps automate repetitive visual tasks in factories, has secured $46 million in a Series B funding round led by US early-stage VC firm UP Partners, Chinese news outlet 36kr reported on Monday.
Founded in 2018, the Shenzhen-registered robotics firm seeks market expansion as well as accelerating its R&D through Series B funding, per the report.
Headquartered in Santa Clara, California, the firm’s solutions tap to solve the pain points of poor imaging, detection models, as well as manual inspection in the manufacturing sector.
