Private equity (PE) behemoth EQT and Manipal Hospitals (also known as Manipal Health) have joined the race to pick up a stake in Sahyadri Hospitals from Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP), DealStreetAsia has learnt.
“The two have separately evinced interest and have submitted their bids,” said one of the sources privy to the negotiations, adding that “there are other players in the fray as well”.
