Vietnam’s Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (SBIC), formerly the National Shipbuilding Industry Group (Vinashin), is planning to sell 49 per cent of the Ha Long Shipbuilding Co Ltd to the Netherlands-based shipyard firm Damen, when Vinashin subsidiary is equitised, local media said, quoting SBIC’s proposal.
