Indian healthtech startup Cloudphysician bags funding led by Peak XV

Cloudphysician, which partners with hospitals to manage patients in intensive care units (ICUs) through its technology stack, has raised $10.5 million in its Series A round of funding led by Peak XV Partners.

The round, which came three years after the firm raised $4 million, also saw participation from Elevar Equity and venture debt firm Panthera Peak.

Founded by intensivists and pulmonologists Dr Dhruv Joshi and Dr Dileep Raman in 2017, Cloudphysician will use the funding to propel its operations India and other markets such as the Middle East, US, and Southeast Asia.

The funds will be used for its innovative AI platform, RADAR, to improve its co-pilot features using data.
