China on Thursday announced a series of measures to boost the scale and proportion of long-term capital investments, according to its securities regulator.
The country aimed to diversify the asset categories available for public funds and implement a fast-track approval process for ETF index funds, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) said a statement.
The regulator will also enhance the regulation of medium- and long-term capital transactions and refine mechanisms that enable institutional investors to participate in the governance of listed companies.
