Private investment firm Capricorn Capital has completed its acquisition of Ethos, a Hong Kong-based trust and corporate service provider for an undisclosed amount, as it sees immense potential in the mid-sized corporate services segment.
The Ethos business will be merged with Capricorn Capital’s other corporation services firm, Asia-Pacific Accounting & Secretarial Services Ltd (A-Pass), Robin Harris, managing director at Capricorn Capital in Asia, told DealStreetAsia.
The acquisition came after Capricorn Capital acquired a majority stake of 67 per cent in Hong Kong-based A-Pass September last year, its first investment in Asia. A-Pass provides corporate formation, secretarial accounting, taxation reporting, trade, and payroll services to businesses in the financial hub.
