People Digest: Capital A, CalPERS CIO rope in execs to strengthen leadership

Malaysia’s Capital A (formerly known as AirAsia Group) roped in Surina Shukri as an independent non-executive director on the board and member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. In a separate development, California Public Employees’ Pension Retirement System (CalPERS) has appointed Nicole Musicco, from Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP), as its new chief investment officer.
