India-based Ati Motors, which makes industrial robotics mostly for the automotive industry, said on Thursday that it has raised $20 million in a Series B funding round.
The financing was led by Walden Catalyst Ventures (WCV) and NGP Capital (NGP) with participation from existing investors including True Ventures, Exfinity Venture Partners, Athera Venture Partners, and Blume Ventures.
US-based WCV was an early investor in cloud-based video conferencing firm Zoom and has backed firms such as Clarity, SolarisBank, GraphCore and Nuvia. According to its website, it has not invested in an Indian firm yet. NGP, on the other hand, has invested in Indian companies such as Zoom Car, Shadowfax and Zinier.
