India Digest: Amazon puts $34m in payments arm; Vebbler fundraise; IFFCO's farmer app

E-commerce giant Amazon has invested Rs 230 crore ($34 million) into its India digital payments arm Amazon Pay, while homegrown photo sharing app Vebbler has raised an undisclosed amount in a pre-Series A round of funding. In another update, IFFCO has partnered with Singapore’s iMandi to launch social e-commerce platform ‘IFFCO iMandi’ to serve and connect farmers digitally.
