AEC Effect: Thailand cos foray into Vietnam

For the past two years, several Thailand-based companies have been active in Vietnam M&A market. A series of deals involving Thai investors have led to acquisition of some of the largest private sector companies in Vietnam.  Experts view it as a byproduct of the regional consolidation, spurred by coming into being of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC)
