Indian startup fundraising scaled a fresh peak in Q3 2021 as investors pumped in $18.7 billion across 525 PE-VC deals in the three months. The size of the deals, too, has increased. There were over 40 mega deals, or those worth $100 million, accounting for 78% of the total deal value in Q3.
In the first nine months of the year (9M 2021), Indian startups have amassed over $33 billion — 3.84 times the funds raised in the same period of 2020 — mostly on the back of a strong Q3.
