Investment platform SustVest Monday announced that it has raised $1.7 million in its pre-Series A funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures and Antler.
The round, which involved a mix of equity and debt, also saw participation from WEH Ventures, Venture Catalysts, Soonicorn Ventures, FAAD Network, and others, the startup said in a statement.
The company will use the funding proceeds to drive key business growth initiatives, including acquiring solar projects, scaling marketing with the regulated platform launch, strengthening operations, and covering legal expenses, the statement added.
Founded in 2020 by Hardik Bhatia (CEO) and Devansh Shah (CTO), SustVest specializes in sustainable investments in renewable energy. The platform claims to have achieved over Rs43 crore in assets under management (AUM) with 9.3 MW of solar installations. Its projects span key locations, including Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, and more.
“Many smaller investors find it difficult to invest in renewable energy due to high entry barriers. SustVest solves this by offering fractional ownership in renewable energy projects for investing,” said Inflection Point Ventures co-founder Ankur Mittal.
