Elevation Capital, which has backed the likes of Paytm and Makemytrip, said it has promoted Vaas Bhaskar and Chirag Chadha as partners in the firm. Separately, ChrysCapital-backed Indian eyewear retailer Lenskart has named former OYO chief financial officer as its new CFO.
Elevation Capital promotes execs to partners
Elevation Capital, which has backed the likes of Paytm and Makemytrip, said it has elevated Vaas Bhaskar and Chirag Chadha as partners in the firm. Bhaskar and Chadha will join other partners in the firm including Ravi Adusumalli, Mukul Arora, Mridul Arora, Mayank Khanduja, Ramanuj Gopalan, Vivek Mathur and Vaibhav Goel.
While Bhaskar joined Elevation in 2018, Chadha became part of the firm in 2017.
Lenskart names new finance chief
ChrysCapital-backed Indian eyewear retailer Lenskart on Wednesday said it has named former OYO chief financial officer Abhishek Gupta as its new CFO. Gupta succeedes Mukti Hariharan, who departed in September to join Coca-Cola. Established in 2008, Lenskart joined the unicorn club in 2019.
It also counts SoftBank, Premji Invest, Alpha Wave Global, Temasek, and KKR among its investors. The company claims to have a customer base of 20 million.
