     1. Jenny Zeng, Founder and Managing Partner, MSA Capital

Jenny Zeng is a serial entrepreneur in the Chinese private equity fund space with over 20 years of experience. In 2014, she founded MSA Capital and serves as a Co-founder and Managing Partner, leading all China-based investments from the fund. Before founding MSA Capital, Zeng served as the first Executive Director of the China Venture Capital Association in 2002 and went on to establish Fenggu Investment in 2004, a leading investment bank in China.

      2. Saurabh Agarwal, Managing Director, Head of Southeast Asia Private Equity, Warburg Pincus

Saurabh N. Agarwal joined Warburg Pincus in 2009 and is based in Singapore, where he relocated from New York in 2016 to focus on the firm’s investment activities in the Asia Pacific region. Before joining Warburg Pincus, he worked at McKinsey & Company in New Jersey and New Delhi and Temasek Holdings in Mumbai. Saurabh is a Director at Advance.AI, ABDA Insurance, BFI Finance, Circles.Life, Everise, GCash (Mynt), MoMo, Oona Insurance and Techcombank.

     3. Adam Ladjadj, Founder and Chairman, Emirates Family Office Association

Adam Ladjadj is a seasoned professional with deep roots in finance and investments. As the Founder and Chairman of The Emirates Family Office Association, Oros Multi Family Office, and the Chief Investment Officer of a Private Family Office, he has devoted his career to establishing and nurturing wealth management strategies. The Emirates Family Office Association is the sole industry association in the Middle East representing Family Offices.

    4. Kheng Lian Ho, General Partner, Turn Capital

Kheng Lian Ho is the General Partner at Turn Capital, which acquires undervalued consumer technology companies and turns them back on the path to growth and profitability with exits within 5 years. The investment firm recently acquired Flash Coffee’s Thailand business. Kheng is also the founder and managing partner at Kollective Ventures, an investment and acquisition firm that has backed top tech companies including SpaceX, Wish, M17 Group and Coffee Meets Bagel.

    5. Gary Hui, Senior Vice President, Head of Hong Kong Office, Wilshire

As Senior Vice President of Investment Solutions and a member of the Alternatives Manager Research team, Gary Hui is responsible for the origination, due diligence, execution, and monitoring of investments across private markets sectors in the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on primaries, secondaries, and co-investments. He has experience in direct investment, fund investment, and business development within private markets. Before joining Wilshire in 2020, Gary was an Executive Director at PICC Asset Management Hong Kong, leading its USD private investment business.

   6. Joshua Morris, Founding Partner and CEO, Emerging Markets Investment Advisers

Singapore-regulated fund management company Emerging Markets Investment Advisers (EMIA) manages $140 million in AUM through three growth capital, impact-focused private equity funds investing across the ASEAN region with a focus on Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar. Joshua leads the firm’s investment activities, operations, and finance.

    7. K Shelly Porges, Founder and Managing Partner, Beyond the Billion & The Billion Dollar Fund for Women

K. Shelly Porges is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Beyond The Billion – launched as The Billion Dollar Fund (TBDF) for Women. The fund was launched in 2018 to catalyse $1 billion into the hands of female founders globally, addressing the gender venture investment gap. In less than a year, TBDF mobilized a global consortium of more than 80 venture funds committed to investing $1 billion in women-founded companies. Porges is also on the Advisory Board for Cornerstone Capital, Mindshift Capital, Different Funds and Global Invest Her.

    8. Kenny Man, Managing Partner, 01Fintech Limited

Kenny Man has over 20 years of management consulting, operational and investment experience across fintech and e-commerce companies. He has successfully built the international investment team for Alibaba & Ant. Before founding 01Fintech, he was Ant Group’s Head of International Investment from 2015 to 2022 where he led investments into Paytm (India), Ascend Money (Thailand), Dana (Indonesia), GCash (Philippines), Alipay HK, TNGd (Malaysia), bKash (Bangladesh). Before Ant, he was Senior Investment Director at Vision Knight Capital, a PE firm with $800 million in AUM.

    9. Caesar Sengupta, Co-Founder and CEO, Arta Finance

Caesar Sengupta is the CEO and co-founder of Arta Finance, which equips professionals with their own digital family office – enabling them to grow, protect, and enjoy their wealth. Arta is available in the US for accredited investors with other countries including Singapore coming soon. Arta is backed by Peak XV, Coatue, and Ribbit. In his last role at Google as VP & GM of Payments & the Next Billion Users Initiative, he led Google Pay, which went from 0 to 200M+ users in ~5 years.

   10. Sunil Thakur, Partner, Quadria Capital

Sunil is a Partner with Quadria Capital, an Asian healthcare-focused private equity fund with managed assets of $3 billion. Sunil has extensive healthcare investment and transaction experience across the Asia-Pacific market and has been involved in some of the landmark deals in the healthcare space. In his career spanning 20+ years, Sunil has led and executed multi-billion-dollar deals across M&A and capital raising.

In Singapore, we are looking to double our reporting team by this year-end to comprehensively cover the fast-moving world of funded startups and VC, PE & M&A deals. We want reporters who can tell our readers what is really happening in these sectors and why it matters to markets, companies and consumers. The ability to write precisely and urgently is crucial for these roles. Ideal candidates must have to ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic, and fast-changing environment. We want our new hires to be digitally savvy and ready to experiment with new forms of storytelling. Most importantly, we are looking for hard-hitting reporters who work well in a team. Collaboration and collegiality are a must.
