RedDoorz, one of Southeast Asia’s largest budget hotel booking platforms, has declared force majeure, or an unforeseeable event preventing it from fulfilling its commitments on its contracts with its Indonesian operators, according to a letter from Mohit Gandas, the company’s general manager for Indonesia, ostensibly sent in March or earlier.
